Tbilisi tour
After breakfast meet the guide and have a walking tour in the old City:
Places to visit:
- Abanotbani (sulfur bath district, where your hotel is situated)
- Metekhi Plateau and Metekhi Church of 5th-13th cc, built above the river on a cliff-top;
- Narikala Fortress by the cable car.
- Sharden str. with many cafes, workshops and galleries.
- Sioni Cathedral(6th c) the beating heart of Georgian Orthodoxy;
- Modern glass bridge of Peace.
Overnight in the hotel.
On this day you will be driven to Natakhtari Airport to fly to Mestia. Arrive in Mestia. Transfer to the hotel.
Explore Mestia. Walk around and enjoy the mountain views.
Overnight in Mestia.
Drive from Mestia by Delika up to cross, erected on the top of the hill. From the cross you will walk up to alpine lake Koruldi. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the snowcapped mountains.
Overnight in Mestia.
Today you walk to Chalaadi bridge and from there to the source of Mestiachala river and glacier.
Return to Mestia.
Overnight in the hotel.
After breakfast drive to the UNESCO village Ushguli(2200m) which is the highest inhabited place in Europe.
Walk toward the mount Shkhara and the source of Enguri river.
Return to Ushguli and drive to Mestia.
Overnight in Mestia.
Transfer to the Mestia airport and fly to Natakhtari airport. Transfer to Tbilisi.
Free time in Tbilisi.
Overnight in the hotel.
